What Happens After Your Website Restoration Is Done

Learn how Wayback Revive hands over your restored site, what to check during the review period, and how to flag any issues before sign-off.

Once your restoration is complete, Wayback Revive follows a structured handover process to make sure you receive a fully working site and have time to review it before the project closes.

1. Receive access to the restored website

   We send you access to the restored website. Depending on your delivery format, this may be a downloadable archive, a staging link, or a direct file transfer. Check your email for delivery details.

2. Review the delivered site

   You enter a review period during which you can inspect the restored content. Open representative pages and confirm that the layout, text, and media match what you expected from the archived version.

3. Verify pages and assets load correctly

   Work through the site systematically. Check that images display, internal links resolve, and key pages are present. If you notice a page or asset that appears broken or missing, note the exact URL so you can reference it clearly.

4. Request any adjustments

   If something in the restored content does not match the archive, submit your feedback within the review timeframe. Minor adjustments related to archived content accuracy are covered under the revision policy.
